I grew up listening to Guru but I've just realised that I have taken for granted (and almost forgotten) the quantity of classics he actually made. He has done so much for hip-hop and will be missed. RIP.
"Is this really the end, or is it a new beginning? A new reality?" - Guru, 1995 (Lifesaver).
Off Regents Street, W1 | West London Today, I just happened to come across the Tweed Run 2010.
Note to self: I must participate next year.
WIKI: The Tweed Run is a group bicycle ride through the centre of London, in which the cyclists are expected to dress in traditional British cycling attire, particularly tweed plus four suits. Any bicycle is acceptable on the Tweed Run, but classic vintage bicycles are encouraged. Some effort to recreate the spirit of a bygone era is always appreciated.
I dwell in London and aspire to a career in photography. I'm a music graduate currently working for a music company in Shoreditch. I also do photography work on the side. I'm learning to play the electric guitar and speak Swedish. Coffee & cigs tend to make me happy. I despise the Daily Mail & I collect wall charts from the Guardian. I live for music, film and of course, photography. Contact me at c_singh84@hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------- For 2010 I'm doing a photo diary - At least one picture a day, for 365 days. Rock on!
